NEW CLUB HOUSE- A spectacular new Club House is under way for the 2008 golf season. Enjoy an array of amenities in this tastefully decorated 7300 square feet of interior space under cathedral wood ceilings.  The new hand crafted 36 foot bar in the dining room grill, overlooks the golf course and is accessible to the 20 foot wide deck where food and drinks may also be enjoyed. Modernized locker rooms for men and women will have showers for those who want to clean up before they hit the road.  The Pro Shop has been enlarged to accommodate even more stylish fashions and the latest in golf equipment.

SAVE $20 A DAY PER PERSON- Unfortunately the completion of the building is behind schedule so we have decided to extend our early booking discount of $20 a day to all that attend our Windham, New York location.  This discount may be used with your frequent golfer discount “Sweet Shot”, resulting in some very large savings.    Upon completion of the Club House, our rates will go back to the originally published rates but reservations booked prior to that upcoming date will be honored.  Parent/Child Programs and Reduced Fall Rates are not included.

SCHOOL MEETING ROOM – Conveniently located on the ninth tee and adjacent to our short game practice area, is the beautiful Thompson House.  We will use the large lobby of this building for our school meeting room, rules clinics and in case of inclement weather. This facility will be in addition to our classroom on the driving range.  Also, packages with rooms are now available at the Thompson House, see below.

PRO SHOP- The temporary building for the pro shop will be in the parking lot area along with the carts.  Upon arrival we will have your bags loaded on a cart and you will meet with your golf instructors.  Golf Director, PGA Professional Brian Lowe, extends his 20% member discount on soft goods to the golf school students.  For students who do not have clubs, the school will supply at no additional cost clubs and bag for the duration of their program.  School opens April 24 and runs every week and weekend thru October 14, 2008.  In addition to our regularly scheduled classes, we also have Women’s Schools, conducted by Susan Stafford and Parent and Child Specials.

Any reservation altered or cancelled within 14 days prior to your arrival date will be charged 10% of deposit handling fee. A deposit will be charged in full if guest arrives after the confirmed date of arrival or departs before the confirmed date of departure. In the event a guest does not show for their room, 100% of the total stay for the entire period reserved will be charged.
Weekends & Holiday Periods: A deposit of $100 per person by credit card, personal check or money order guarantees your reservation. Any reservation altered or cancelled before 14 days prior to your arrival date, will be charged 10% of deposit handling fee. This fee will be charged to your credit card. If your check has been received, you will be mailed a refund check less a 10% deposit handling fee. Any alterations or cancellations in reservation made within 14 days of your arrival date, deposit will be forfeited in full. Deposit will be forfeited in full if guest arrives after confirmed date of arrival or departs before confirmed date of departure. In the event a guest does not show for their room, 100% of the total stay for the entire period reserved will be charged.

Commuter rates do not include room, breakfast and resort amenities.

Directions from Albany:  Take the NYS Thruway (RT 87) South to Exit 21 - Catskill NY about 45 minutes.  Then follow the directions same as above from toll gate.  Pro Shop 518.734.9910

Accommodations are conveniently located close to golf course.  Directions will be given at time of reservation.

Leave the Driving for the Tee:
Travel by Trailways Bus from NYC Port Authority. Buses leave daily 8:30 AM and 6 PM for Windham NY. Return home on the 3:45 PM bus. Ask your driver to drop you off at the Windham Country Club. Call for bus information 800.858.8555.
